MADISON, Wis. (WHBL) - The effort to revive the rail line between Plymouth and Kohler has received a 17-million dollar boost from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.   Secretary Mark Gotttlieb announced the grant Tuesday, saying the revival of the 11 mile corridor will give local businesses an additional freight option and will help retain and create new jobs in Sheboygan County.  There’s been no rail service between Kohler and Sheboygan Falls since 2006, and between Plymouth and Falls for more than 20 years.  The track is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2014 at a total cost of 19-million dollars.
