SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - The Sheboygan County Board Tuesday night approved an agreement to house juvenile offenders from Manitowoc County in the Sheboygan County Juvenile Detention Center. Inspector Bill Bruckbauer appeared before the board and addressed concerns about the welfare of the juveniles. He said Sheboygan County offers better educational and mental health services than Manitowoc. He said they are also working on a computer program which would allow the inmates to have visual and audio contact with relatives back in Manitowoc. The agreement is also expected to generate about $40,000 in additional revenue for the Sheriff’s Department.
