SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Two women are facing felony retail theft charges after allegedly stealing copper plumbing fittings from Sheboygan’s Menard’s store. Katelyn Rezachek of Plymouth and Calla Herziger of Elkhart Lake, both 21, were arrested last week as part of an ongoing investigation. According to the criminal complaint, the women were seen on surveillance video stealing numerous copper fittings valued at more than fourteen hundred dollars on three occasions in June. The two were identified through the surveillance video. When Rezachek was arrested at her home last Friday she admitted she was stealing the fittings and then selling them to finance her drug habit. She said she uses pills or heroin on a daily basis. The two are facing up to 7 years in prison if convicted.
