CASCADE, WI (WHBL) - A Cascade area couple received a new septic system Thursday courtesy of the Wisconsin Onsite Water Recycling Association. As part of their first ever “Rejuvenate a Family Day”, WOWRA selected Ron and Barb Joslyn to receive the unit. Their selection was due to their old system posing a potential health hazard, and medical costs preventing them from replacing it on their own. WOWRA President Aaron Ausen said this event helps to showcase the group’s commitment to come together to donate materials and time to those who need it. During a ceremony Thursday at the Joslyn home that featured state and county officials, Barb shared her thanks for the new unit saying "I don't know how to say thank you anymore, but I've always believed in the human spirit. WOWRA hopes to do this event on a regular basis helping other families across the state.
