SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Two people are in the Sheboygan County Jail after being caught burglarizing a home on Meggers Road in the town of Wilson. The Sheriff’s Department reports getting a 911 call shortly after 11 o’clock Sunday night from the homeowner who had returned home to find a female inside of the residence. Lt. Jason Liermann said she was detained while deputies responded and then learned there was a man barricaded in the basement and possibly armed. Liermann said the SWAT team was then dispatched, but the suspect was arrested before they arrived on the scene. The 23 year old man and 26 year old woman are now facing charges of armed burglary and criminal damage to property.
