SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The city of Sheboygan is looking for a new Waste Water Treatment Plant Superintendent. Mayor Mike Vandersteen told the city council Monday night that the current Superintendent, Dale Doerr has resigned to take a job as head of a brand new treatment plant at Disney World. Vandersteen said, "Dale brought a new vision of sustainabliity to the operation of our waste water treatment plant and we really appreciate all of the work that he and his team did there." Vandersteen said Chemist Sharon Theiszen has taken over on an interim basis as the city begins a search for a permanent replacement.
