SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man facing charges after a drunken fight with police and nurses.
28-year-old Dustin W Bramstedt faces charges of resisting an officer and disorderly conduct.
According to a criminal complaint, police were called out to the corner of 15th street and Pennsylvania Avenue for a report of a drunk person lying in someone's yard. When officers arrived, they say they found Bramstedt in a bush. They say Bramstedt spotted the squad car and tried to get away but was too drunk to walk properly. Offices determined that there were warrants out for Bramstedt's arrest and tried to take him into custody.
Police say Bramstedt became extremely uncooperative, and even faked a seizure to try and get out of going to the police department. Officers brought him to he hospital where a blood draw determined he had an alleged .31 blood alcohol level. Bramstedt allegedly started to spit and kick, and even tried to sexually assault nurses.
Bramstedt remains in jail on a $500 cash bond, and will be back in court next month for a pretrial conference.
