UPDATE: Sheboygan Police say the victim in a Monday night water rescue on Lake Michigan is alive.
Investigators say the boy was dragged out from the shallow parts of the beach near King Park by a strong undertow, and was found in 5 feet of water around 40 feet from the shoreline. Family members and others at the scene also say they were struggling with the undertow.
The 14-year-old is currently at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee in critical condition His identity is not being released at this time.

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A teenager had to be pulled from Lake Michigan yesterday afternoon by rescue crews.
Rescue crews were dispatched around 6:30 pm yesterday to King Park for a report that a swimmer had gone under and not come up. The Fire Department, the County Dive Team and the Coast Guard all were called out to help find the missing swimmer. Police were able to spot the teen in the water, and start CPR after getting him to the shore. He was taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment. His condition is not being released.
The victim is a 14-year-old boy who was at King Park with his family. Officials say he was underwater for around 10 minutes before being rescued.
The case remains under investigation. The victim's name is not being released at this time.
