TOWN OF LYNDON, Wis. (WHBL) -- A rural Sheboygan County barn burned to the ground overnight.
Dispatchers were called around 10 pm last night for a report of a barn on fire on Highway 28 near the Village of Waldo. Crews from multiple agencies were put on alert as firefighters made their way to the scene. The building was already fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived.
The building is a total loss, and preliminary reports say the start of the fire may have been a lightning strike. No one was injured, and the fire remains under investigation.
