SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- Sheboygan wants to be the home to a Milwaukee Bucks affiliate.
A report from USA Today-Wisconsin says the city is vying alongside several other cities across the Midwest to be the home for a new D-League team for the Bucks. Talks on the proposal have been held in closed session with the city council over the last few months. City officials haven't said if the Sheboygan Armory would house that team, but it was the home to the Sheboygan Redskins in the 30s and 40s.
Officials with the Bucks have said they're hoping to build a new D-League affiliate by 2017, but say a home for that team has not been chosen yet.
