SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A Cleveland man faces felony charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenager.
18-year-old Robert Henricks was charged on Monday with repeated sexual assault of a child and strangulation.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim in the case came forward to her school resource officer and told them that Henricks had assaulted and choked her May 30th in a Sheboygan area cemetery. She told police that the two had been dating for several months, but that the relationship had soured and she'd broken it off in May. The two had met on the 30th so that she could talk to him about why she ended the relationship when the attack happened.
She also told police that this wasn't the first time he'd choked her and that there was a similar incident earlier in May when Henricks allegedly choked her while assaulting her.
Henricks is being held on a $50,000 cash bond and will be back in court for a preliminary hearing June 16th.
