SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (WHBL) -- Families and kids can take part in a special outdoor skills event in Sheboygan Falls tomorrow morning thanks to the DNR and the Sheboygan County Conservation Association.
It's part of the Free Fishing and Receation Weekend from the DNR. Warden Michael Clutter says there'll be plenty to do. "They're going to stock nearly 1000 fish in that little pond, they're going to have bait, fishing poles, tackle, everything available. They've event got people to clean and cook your fish if you'd like. There's a BB Gun range, archery for the kids, canoes." Guides will also be on hand to teach kids the finer points of handling fish and other fun activities.
Clutter says they're hoping to get kids hooked on something fun. "The hope is you go on the free fishing or the archery and the BB guns and stuff, you enjoy the shooting sports or the fishing, and you go and pursue them. And we'll see you in the woods."
The event runs from 9 am to 3 pm at River Park in Sheboygan Falls.
