SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A Milwaukee man faces charges of dealing cocaine after a drug bust in Sheboygan this week.

30-year-old Cornelius Bams has been charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and illegally obtaining a prescription drug.

According to a criminal complaint, the county's drug unit was executing a search warrant in another case, when they stopped to talk with Bams who lives in another unit in the building. When he opened his door to speak to officers, they spotted what they say looked like crack cocaine. Officers came back with another search warrant, and searched Bam's residence.

Police say they found multiple sources of both cocaine and crack cocaine totalling around 40 grams, as well as several pills of Alprazolam. A county investigator and a DEA agent interviewed Bams, who allegedly admitted to having that cocaine.

Bams is being held on a $35,000 cash bond, and will be back in court for a preliminary hearing May 10th.
