SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A survey on the cost of repairs to Sheboygan school buildings continues to circulate.
That survey was sent out to every resident of the Sheboygan School district as part of an effort by the administration to both educate the public and get feedback on some needed maintenance on school buildings.
Superintendent Joe Sheehan says they're hoping to do some much needed repairs on the school buildings, including roof repairs and rebuilding the HVAC systems. He also reminds people that this is the first time the district has asked for a funding referendum in over a decade. Current estimates on the project would put any potential tax increase for the district at about $4 per household.
Survey results will be presented at the School Board meeting on Tuesday, May 24th and will also be available on the district website at www.sheboygan.k12.wi.us.
