SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A Plymouth woman charged in connection with a fake drug case and a real overdose is getting probation.

22-year-old Megan Meyer will be serving two years probation after her sentence was withheld on charges of imitation of a controlled substance, possession of narcotics and felony bail jumping.

The charges stem from a pair of incidents last year. In the first case, police say Meyer and Jerome Brost helped buy the drugs that lead to an drug overdose incident in Plymouth. When police arrested the two, they found drug paraphernalia in her purse. Meyer allegedly admitted to buying heroin in Milwaukee earlier in the week, but that they spilled it on the way home.

While in custody, police questioned Meyer about a previous incident in which she reportedly offered to sell an informant some percocet and heroin. The heroin turned out to be crushed up dog food and the percocet was in fact an aspirin. Meyer claimed that she sold the informant the fake drugs to get back at them for stealing a car seat.

If Meyer violates her probation, she could be brought back to court and face up to 19 years on all charges in the case.
