SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan woman will spend six months in the local jail as part of her sentence for breaking into a Sheboygan apartment and stealing a number of items last October.
Judge Angela Sutkiewicz also placed 25 year old Victoria Frias on four years probation after she pleaded no contest to charges of burglary and bail jumping after reaching a plea deal.
The criminal complaint detailed what happened at the Indiana Avenue apartment, where the renter noticed a number of items stolen, ranging from electronics to tobacco to Ramen noodles.
The big break for investigators was when a surveillance camera at a nearby gas station captured the suspect entering and exiting the apartment, and one of their employees mentioned Frias came to them several hours later.
A search of Frias’ residence located most of the stolen items, and she reportedly claimed she bought the items from several black men.
