SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan Falls woman was sentenced last week in connection to several incidents of missing money from Sheboygan A’s games.
Judge Rebecca Persick sentenced 36 year old Kimberly Peil to 45 days in jail, which was stayed, and two years of probation that was withheld, after a plea deal was reached where she pleaded no contest to two counts of theft while a third count was dismissed.
The criminal complaint states a representative with the Sheboygan A’s told Sheboygan Police they were missing deposits of money from a game in July of 2014, plus one game each from June and July of 2015. The money would have been from ticket sales, concession sales, and raffle drawings, and would likely have been at least 15-hundred dollars from each day.
For all three games, Peil was the volunteer foreman, meaning she was the one responsible for collecting the money and making sure it got deposited within 72 hours.
When interviewed, Peil said that she had lost the money and was in the process of trying to find it.
