SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The City of Sheboygan is closer to knowing who their next City Administrator will be.

After their own interviews last week, the city’s Civil Service Committee selected two people Friday to get an additional interview by city officials.  The two people are Darrell Hofland, the current Village Administrator for Grafton, and Eric Rindfleisch, the current Village Administrator for the Madison area suburb McFarland.

The city says the two will be interviewed Wednesday by a special committee consisting of Mayor Mike Vandersteen, Common Council President Don Hammond, Alderwoman Mary Lynn Donahue, Human Resources Director Sandy Rohrick, Police Chief Chris Domagalski, and Director of Public Works David Biebel.

Once these interviews are complete, this committee will decide if any of them will get an additional interview with Vandersteen and Hammond, and then possibly be considered to the Common Council for the position.

A new city administrator should be in place before current City Administrator Jim Amodeo retires on April 1.
