SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man, recently given a harsher sentence for violating a probation for a 2014 disturbance, will now serve a new probation sentence for his role connected to a drug bust in Sheboygan back in November.
Judge Rebecca Persick sentenced 24 year old Willie Washington to a three year probation term last week after he reached a plea deal with prosecutors. In exchange for pleading no contest to maintaining a drug trafficking place, charges of possessing THC and drug paraphernalia were dismissed.
The criminal complaint against him stated Sheboygan County’s MEG Unit conducted a search warrant at a residence on the 400 block of Huron Avenue, where Washington was one of two people inside. Investigators were able to find both drugs and drug paraphernalia.
In addition to Washington, 19 year old Joseph Schmidt was also charged for his alleged role at the home, and he is scheduled for sentencing later this week.
