SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - Today, January 5, is the deadline for people interested in running in local spring elections to get their nomination papers in by 5 p.m. to get their name on the ballot.
Spring elections will primarily focus on seats for city, village, town, county, and school board bodies. Some of the biggest races in Sheboygan County will be all 25 seats on the county Board of Supervisors, and mayoral seats in Sheboygan Falls and Plymouth.
There will also be the statewide election for a State Supreme Court seat, currently held by Rebecca Bradley.
If primaries are needed, they will be held February 16.
The general elections will be on April 5, along with the state’s presidential primary.
