TOWN OF WILSON, WI (WHBL) - An Oostburg area man was hospitalized after a two vehicle accident in the Town of Wilson Monday afternoon.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department says the accident occurred at the intersection of Middle Road and Wilson-Lima Road just before 3:30 p.m.
They determined 75 year old Robert Jakubiak failed to stop at a stop sign on Wilson-Lima as it reached the intersection. That caused his 2003 Chevy Avalanche to be struck by a 1997 Chevy pick-up, driven by 19 year old Joshua Moreau of Sheboygan, as he was traveling on Middle Road.
Both men suffered non-incapacitating injuries, with Jakubiak transported to St Nicholas Hospital by Oostburg Ambulance.
The sheriff’s department says Jakubiak was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
