MADISON, WI (WHBL) - Governor Scott Walker cleaned up some paper work Wednesday, signing into law 49 bills that have passed the state Legislature earlier this year. Five of the bills were authored by local legislators in some way.
Three were the result of work by Assemblyman Tyler Vorpagel. They include clarifying how vehicles interact with flashing yellow arrow turn signals, creating two new definitions related to pedestrian signal crossings, and allowing the State Supreme Court to adapt its public notices for new and revised rule changes for newspapers and online.
State Senator Devin LeMahieu had one bill signed into law, which expands which medical professionals can determine if a person can be eligible for disabled hunting and fishing privileges.
LeMahieu and Assemblyman Terry Katsma were also the authors of another bill signed into law Wednesday that allows cemetery owners and operators the option to deposit funds with securities brokers and dealers.
