SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan woman was sentenced last week for stealing a cash card and using it at Burger King.
Judge L. Edward Stengel ordered 39 year old Sharaye Wynter to serve 60 days in jail and two years probation after she pleaded no contest to a felony charge for misappropriate use of ID info to obtain money.
The criminal complaint states Sheboygan County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Johnsonville plant July 7th after a worker found her cash card was missing for the prior two days. The victim said they noticed the card was used twice after it was taken to Burger King in Sheboygan.
Investigators used restaurant receipts and surveillance video to connect Wynter as a suspect. When officers went to arrest her, Wynter allegedly did not admit to the crime at that time.
