SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man will spend 40 days in jail after he sexually assaulted two teenage girls last year.
Judge James Bolgert sentenced 18 year old Phoenix Reyes last week after he pleaded no contest to one of two second-degree sexual assault of a child felonies he faced. The other charge was dismissed as part of a plea deal, which included the withholding of 80 days of jail time and three years of probation.
In the criminal complaint filed in June, Sheboygan Police began investigating after the boyfriend of one of the two victims came forward to report the sexual acts, which occurred in September of last year. Reyes was accused of having sex with the two females at the same location - one during a party and the other earlier in the day.
Reyes reportedly denied the acts at first when asked by investigators, but later admitted to them. He allegedly said one of the females had asked him to have sex with her.
