SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - There’s a new judge in the Sheboygan County Circuit Court system. Rebecca Persick was sworn in Monday as the new judge for Branch Four.
The former court commissioner for the past 12 years won an election in April over Catherine Delahunt to replace Terence Bourke, who retired from the bench at the end of last month.
Those wanting to watch Persick in Branch Four will have to wait another week. The Clerk of Circuit Courts Office tells WHBL News she will be in mentoring sessions all this week, preparing for her new position.
As for the commissioner’s position, Ryan O’Rourke was selected to fill the position Persick held previously. O’Rourke was a former assistant district attorney for Sheboygan County.
