SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Sheboygan County Board of Supervisors is in need of a new member.
District 6 supervisor Kris Wheeler resigned his position recently, with no reason made public. Wheeler’s district represents Wards 18 and 19 in the City of Sheboygan.
Anyone who is interested in filling the seat is asked to submit a letter of interest and a brief resume to Board Chairman Roger Te Stroete’s office by August 6. The address is Sheboygan County Administration Building, 508 New York Avenue, Sheboygan. He will select a person to replace Wheeler, who then the board will vote on during their August meeting.
A person interested in filling the position must reside in the district, be available to make monthly county board meetings every third Tuesday of each month, and serve on at least one of the board's committees.
Whoever is selected will receive a a base annual salary of $2,100, plus get reimbursed for mileage and paid a per-Diem for making meetings.
