Sheboygan, WI (WHBL) - It's official now. Sheboygan native Sam Dekker has signed a 4 year, $8 million dollar contract with the Houston Rockets.
Dekker’s profile rose sharply as he helped to lead the University of Wisconsin Badgers Men’s Basketball team to the 2015, NCAA National Championship bout against Duke. He averaged 12.1 points in the matchup.
Unclear is how soon Dekker suits-up. The Rockets begin Summer League games in Las Vegas Friday night.
