SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan has changed the name of its main fundraising organization. The group Friends of St. Nicholas Hospital has been changed to HSHS St. Nicholas Foundation.
The decision was to better reflect the group’s role as the philanthropic, charitable arm of the hospital.
Charmaine Jankowski, Director of Philanthropy says the name may be different, but the mission remains the same. “Every dollar raised by HSHS St. Nicholas Foundation directly impacts the patients we serve in our community by funding the latest medical breakthroughs and innovations, health care education, preventative health practices and more,” says Jankowski. “Through the efforts of the Foundation and our dedicated supporters, we are helping secure a healthier future.”
