SHEBOYGAN FALLS, WI (WHBL) - A Plymouth man is facing his fifth OWI offense after his arrest last week. 31 year old Jordan Adams was charged Monday for drunk driving and operating a motor vehicle while revoked.
A Sheboygan Falls Police officer stopped Adams’ vehicle July 3 for a traffic stop, and the officer accused Adams of being drunk due to the smell of intoxicants, slurred speech and glossy eyes. Adams was taken into custody after he allegedly admitted to having several drinks at a bar, performed field sobriety tests, and blew a preliminary blood alcohol reaching of .307, over four times the legal limit.
Adams’ four prior convictions run from 2003 to 2011.
He made his initial court appearance Monday and had a five-thousand dollar cash bond set. He faces up to seven years in prison if found guilty of both charges.
