SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Day Two of the Dorian Torres trial Tuesday saw more witnesses called and evidence submitted by District Attorney Joe DeCecco.

One key witness called to the stand was Tyler Harrier of Sheboygan, who spent several days as a roommate with Dorian Torres at the Sheboygan County Detention Center after Dorian was arrested for the death of his father Emilio. Harrier said Dorian told him he killed Emilio by striking him and then suffocating him until he could not breathe.

Also taking the stand was Sheboygan Police Detective Matt Walsh, who took pictures of Emilio’s body during his autopsy.  The pictures showed Emilio has several severe bruises and cuts to the back of his head.

Other witnesses and evidence brought before Judge Terrence Bourke established Emilio was last seen at work January 23, 2014, there were over a half dozen purchases using Emilio’s bank account after that date, alleged to have been made by Dorian, and several friends of Dorian noticing he was using Emilio’s vehicle after the date Emilio was last seen.

DeCecco is expected to wrap up his case on Wednesday.

Defense Attorney Raj Kuman Singh will present his case Thursday morning, and that could include having Dorian taking the stand.

Closing arguments are expected Thursday afternoon before Judge Bourke decides if Dorian is guilty or innocent of first-degree intentional homicide.
