Crews will be back out Wednesay to post additional signs. All work is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday night.
A reminder that the new speed limit only takes effect when the signs are posted. Also, follow the state law and give road crews on the side of the road enough space to work by moving to anothe lane or slowing down when passing.

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - Get ready to rev your engines a little more on select Wisconsin roadways. The Wisconsin DOT says over 450 signs will start to go up Tuesday increasing speed limits from 65 to 70 miles per hour.
The DOT’s Rob Miller says over 800 miles of roadways will see the increase. All will be on interstate roadways that have on and off ramps only. "It’s kind of what we consider more rural portions of the interstate," says Miller. "So people are gonna still need to be alert for speed zones and speed changes, depending on exactly where they are."
Miller says the new speed limit only takes effect when the new signs are up. As they are being put up by county road crews, make sure you follow the law and give them the space they need. "Slow down, move over, (and) watch for those roadside workers if they’re stopped along our highways."
