SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Safe Harbor of Sheboygan County is hosting a free community presentation on the issues of underage sexual contact, human trafficking and sexting.
Prevention Education Specialist Beth Heilman says the event’s intent is to bring awareness to these problems in our area. "So we want them to understand the laws that go along with that, be able to communicate with minors and support them through these issues," says Heilman.
The event gets underway at 5:30 at UW-Sheboygan inside the Wombat Room. Presenters include Heilman, Mai Xong, Detective Tamara Remington, Assistant District Attorney Joel Urmanski & Victim Witness. A public discussion will follow the presentation.
