SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Sheboygan Fire Department made quick work of a porch fire Friday morning.
Battalion Chief Keith Risse says the initial call came in around 3:45 a.m. at 1417 Indiana Avenue from an employee of a business across the street. Firefighters arrived five minutes later and found several trim boards of a front porch on fire. Crews worked quickly to put it out, taking out some of the boards to keep the fire from spreading.
No injuries occurred and damage was estimated at around two-hundred dollars.
Risse says the cause of the fire is unknown.
