SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The two-dollar barrier for gas has been broken in Sheboygan County for the first time in five years.
The website Wisconsin Gas Prices shows six stations, five in and near Sheboygan and one in Waldo, are selling regular unleaded at $1.99 a gallon. The price at other stations within the county varies, ranging from $2.03 to $2.19.
The website reports the lowest price for gas in the state is in Kenosha at $1.89.
The Wisconsin AAA has their Fuel Gauge Report for Friday at $2.18 cents. That is down 13 cents from the past week, 59-cents from the past month, and $1.06 from one year ago.
