SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The time has come for Sheboygan dog owners to get their licenses for 2015. Dog licenses are now available at the Sheboygan Police Department’s front desk from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Captain Steve Cobb says there are no major changes to get a license. Just make sure you bring a current rabies certificate from a licensed veterinarian. "Even if the rabies vaccination is on a cycle, say from July to July, they will still be licensed for 2015," said Cobb. The cost for the license will be the same; ten-dollars for a neutered or spayed dog and 15-dollars for unaltered dogs.
As for cats, Cobb says you will have to wait a little longer. "We had a problem with our supplier with the tags, so the tags are available yet," said Cobb. Cat licenses should be available before the end of the year.
