
SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Jermaine Hampton has been charged for allegedly firing a shot at a southside Sheboygan residence Sunday. The 32 year old Sheboygan man faces two felonies for recklessly endangering safety and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
According to county prosecutors, Hampton got into an argument with another person outside a residence on the 1500 block of South 14th Street. Eventually it escalated to the point where Hampton allegedly shot a handgun from the street towards the residence. Hampton told Sheboygan Police he was not the one who shot the gun.
Hampton now faces up to 22 years in prison if found guilty of the charges.
