RANDOM LAKE, WI (WHBL) - A 19 year old man from Waubeka is facing charges following a brief high speed police chase out of Random Lake early this morning. The suspect was taken into custody late this morning after he abandoned his car and fled the scene about 2:30 this morning. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department said deputies attempted to stop the car in Random Lake when it headed south on Highway 57 at a high rate of speed. Deputies spotted the car about two miles into Ozaukee County but the driver had fled, leaving a passenger behind. The ensuing investigation led to the whereabouts of the driver and he was arrested.
