SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan Police have investigated a rash of vehicle entries on the city’s south side this past week. The majority of those incidents occurred in an area east of South Eight Street between Dillingham and Mead avenues.
Many incidents had vehicle ransacked with the driver’s door left open. In one incident, a witness saw three subjects checking doors of vehicles along a roadway but got away before authorities arrived. Items stolen include cash, over the counter medicines, and a pair of glasses.
Sheboygan Police are reminding residents they can lessen the chance of their vehicle being illegally entered by locking doors and keeping valuables out of sight. They also ask people to report anything they hear or see as suspicious.
