SHEBOYGAN, Wis.(WHBL) -  Police have apprehended a 43 year old man involved in a strong arm robbery at Fischer’s Food & Liquor that occurred last night.  Lt. Kurt Brasser with the Sheboygan Police Department says that around 7:30 Sunday night, police were dispatched to the store for a robbery.  The clerk said a man had entered the store and demanded the cash from the cash register and then pushed him to the floor.  The suspect removed $300 from the register, then took beer and cigars before fleeing.  The clerk recognized the suspect and was able to help identify him.  Officers then executed a search warrant on Weeden Creek Road and learned the suspect had fled to Illinois.  He was arrested in the Chicago area and is being held in the Cook County Jail awaiting extradition to Sheboygan.  He’s expected to be charged with Felony Strong Arm Robbery.
