TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Sheboygan Area School District’s 16th home construction project is complete. Students from North and South High School have worked on the 2,000 square foot three bedroom structure this year on Wild Meadow Drive.
On Sheboygan’s Morning News Wednesday, Superintendent Joe Sheehan said the home was purchased for over $300,000 prior to completion, allowing students to experience what it's like to have change orders to the project to meet the buyer's desires.
An open house is scheduled for June 7th from 10am to 3pm. Sheehan says the money from this year’s sale will help sponsor scholarships for students who helped with the project and pay for the land for future homes. He adds there is growing interest from the public to purchase homes made by the students.
