
SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan Police are investigating a series of recent burglaries on the city’s south side. The department says the neighborhoods of Franklin Park, Hilltop, Roosevelt Park, South Central and Swift have been the targets of five incidents over the past week.
One incident resulted in burglars entering a residence through an open ground level window and taking cash and electronic devices. Three of the burglaries were to unsecured garages with tools, a lawn mower and a bicycle stolen. One incident was an attempted burglary to a residence where entry was not gained. Police are not saying if the burglaries are related or who the suspects might be.
Police are asking all residents to make sure you lock doors, windows and garages when you are not around to discourage burglars from entering.
