SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man faces a bomb scare charge for his role in a threat made at the Rockline Plant in January.
19 year old Justin Jahns is charged with being party to the crime of a bomb scare after allegedly helping to place a note in a men’s bathroom at the Maryland Avenue plant on January 5, saying there was a bomb that would go off at midnight. The plant was evacuated, costing the company over $36,000 in production.
A few weeks later, a plant employee came forward, saying she heard Jahns and another man were responsible for the note - one writing it and the other placing it in the bathroom with the intention of getting out of work that day.
Jahns faces up to three and a half years in prison if found guilty. Online court records show no charges have been filed against the other accused man.
