SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man will do some time in prison for an attack on a Sheboygan man who caught him in the act of breaking into his vehicle. 22 year old John Cassabaum was sentenced recently by Judge Terrence Bourke to a year and a half in prison to be followed by three years on exended supervision. Cassabaum had broken into an SUV in the 400 block of Niagara Avenue last July when the owner caught him inside the vehicle. That's when Cassabaum attacked the owner and put him in a choke hold before fleeing. The owner called police who located Cassabaum hiding in some bushes. He denied the accusation and tried to convince police that it was the owner of the vehicle who had attacked him.
