SHEBOYGAN, Wis.(WHBL) - Property taxpayers in the city of Sheboygan will be paying less this year. The Finance Department said the total tax bill will be $23.78 per thousand of assessed valuation…88 cents per thousand less than last year. The city spending accounts for about 33 percent of that bill…the schools about 45 percent…and the county about 20 percent. The school portion of the bill went down by 60 cents per thousand while the county went down a dime. This year’s lottery tax credit will go up by about two dollars to 107 dollars.
