SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man faces battery and false imprisonment charges for allegedly beating his wife. 34-year-old Choua Vue made his initial appearance in Sheboygan County Court Friday.
According to the criminal complaint, Vue’s wife admitted to him at their residence that she was having an affair with another man. This led to him slapping, hitting, kicking and pulling her hair for four hours, causing her to suffer a broken right arm and numerous bruises. The victim was taken by Vue’s sister to Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for treatment, but Vue would take her back home. After another confrontation with several more slaps, she left and ended up at Safe Harbor.
Authorities were informed when the Department of Social Services called them, saying Vue was trying to find his wife, who works there.
Vue faces over ten years in prison if found guilty.
