Students Learn About Fire Prevention

SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Sheboygan Fire Department presented their fall fire prevention program to 1^st grade classes at Jefferson Elementary School on September 10^th.  The 1^st grade classes participated in the Stop, Drop, and Roll program that assists the children in developing a self protection skill in the case of their clothing catching on fire.  The children wear a special vest with flames that detach when they roll on the carpet as they practice the stop, drop, and roll techniques.  The children also toured the fire truck.
