SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man will spend one year in jail for a burglary in Sheboygan back in June. Judge Timothy Van Akkeren sentenced 24-year-old Devin Tramte in Sheboygan County Court Friday for a burglary charge. Three other charges of theft and bail jumping were dismissed as part of a plea deal.
Tramte entered a residence on the 600 block of North 9th Street on June 13 and took a laptop, cash, and cigarettes. An investigation by local authorities connected him to the crime a few days later. In addition to the jail time, Tramte will spend four years on probation.
