SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - Home sales in Sheboygan County and the state continue to improve over last year.  According to the Wisconsin Realtors Association’s most recent release of figures, sales of homes in July in Sheboygan County are up three-percent when compared to July of 2012, and the median price for a home is up 7.3-percent.  So far through all of 2013, homes sales in the county are up 10.6-percent and the median price up 15.2-percent when compared to last year.

For the entire state, home sales are up this year 12.8-percent, and the median price is up 7.8-percent.  The number of new listings and closed sales are also above 2012 levels.  The only downside to the report is that the housing affordability index dropped last month due to increase home prices and slightly higher mortgage rates.
