SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - ACUITY Insurance raised over $20,000 during their second annual Health Challenge event last month. Nearly 750 participants took part in either a two mile or 5K run/walk on the west side of Sheboygan back on July 20. Winners for the men’s and women’s division each received $1,000 from the company. Also taking part on the insurance company’s grounds was a Health Village event, which allowed dozens of local groups to exhibit programs and services emphasizing the aspects of health, wellness and safety. The money raised from the event will be donated to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic Palliative Care Fund in Sheboygan County.
