SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Brat Days continues on in Sheboygan through Saturday at Kiwanis Park. One of the new attractions this year is a chance to possibly win a national contest courtesy of Johnsonville Brats.
When appearing on “Sheboygan’s Morning News” Thursday, event spokesperson Kelly Fairchild said it all about the company’s promotion song “Don’t Pierce the Brat”. A video on Youtube show the Brattender singing his 80's rock ballad song advising people not to let the juices from within the brat leak out before eating. People can submit their own music video of the song, with one selected to receive five thousand dollars and a year supply of brats.
Fairchild says attendees will be able to submit their entry while at Brat Days as Johnsonville will have a karaoke booth set up from 9 to 2 Saturday. Also those who submit a video will receive a free t-shirt.
Videos will be judged based on originality, quality, and promotion of Johnsonville Brats. Those who can’t make this opportunity will still have a chance to submit a video online through August 30.
